The project developed involves the control of an articulated arm using Bluetooth® technology via an Android smartphone. The student created an application through MIT App Inventor2 to control the arm. The project focuses on three main aspects: the Bluetooth® interface description, Arduino programming, and the application development for arm control. The arm structure is made of MDF and features 4 servo motors for movement control. The Bluetooth®-transmitted signal controls the arm's movement by sending packets of numbers from 0 to 180, corresponding to each servo's rotation angle. The project aims to assist mechanical engineering students in mechatronics and industrial automation classes, aiming to popularize robotics within engineering

The project's practical use includes stacking plastic blocks and moving blocks in a tic-tac-toe game. Challenges encountered during the project included initial difficulties with the SURE module due to lack of documentation, which were resolved through communication with the module manufacturer and Texas Instruments. The project's approximate cost breakdown includes servomotors at around R$16 each, aluminum profile at R$20, screws and nuts at R$10, a Lab Processor Kit I at R$100, and a SURE Bluetooth module at R$100, with additional costs totaling R$45
